introduction
Color versions 1.5 thru 1.5.3 (perhaps others, untested), display the DPXs and TIFFs with a gamma shift.
There are two ways to correct this.
put a 1.8/2.2 (=0.818181818181818) gamma setting to your shot inside Color
use this custom-made LUT
make_color_see_correctly_dpxs.mga
(© Charbon-Studio sprl)
How to use it
The LUT should be ON when you grade TIFFs or DPXs.
The LUT should be OFF when you render.
Color renders correctly dpxs and tiffs, the problem is just that it displays them too bright.
The LUT is not perfect but quite close.
Do you have this gamma shift ?
